Bad behaviour suspected as armoury found close to Jerusalem lawyer’s home
Admit it. As a lawyer, and presumably a human one, you’ve occasionally considered going postal. Maybe daydreamed about rubbing out a client, even a colleague.
But beyond the occasional muttered curse and a doodle on a legal pad of some besuited clot hanging from a gallows, you’ve probably never done anything about it.
Well, it looks like someone’s finally cracked. The Jerusalem Post this month brings word of the arrest of a lawyer for storing a number of unlikely objects in a store close to her apartment. These include guns, ammunition and explosives.
Oh, and shoulder-launched missiles. Commentators says it’s exactly the kind of artillery one could use to attack an armoured vehicle.
So next time you feel marginally guilty about looting the stationery cupboard, making personal calls or appropriating the last of someone else’s butter from the office fridge, get some perspective.
And remember what the great legal philosopher Ice Cube once said: ‘Today was a good day, didn’t have to use my AK.’ AB
