‘Olsang’ reaches finals of Office Choir of the Year

Olswang has added another string to its mellifluous bow this week after securing a place in the final of the ‘Office Choir of the Year’ competition.

With a plethora of singing competitions filling the airwaves at the moment (The Voice, anyone? Nope, us neither) it was only a matter of time before singing found its way into the workplace. And with more and more firms offering bigger and better workplace benefits to attract candidates, it seems entirely appropriate for Olswang to highlight its distinctive personality and unstuffy culture.

Olsang (pictured above in swish evening wear) was created in just ten weeks and used the talents of partners, associates, legal support and business services staff. (You can read their own story here.) Olsang’s repertoire included Mozart,West End show-stoppers and contemporary pieces.

Unfortunately for Olsang, they were pipped to the post in the final by legal rival Norton Rose. But they did have the satisfaction of matching up to the best workplace choirs from organisations such as UBS, News International and Channel 4.

If you love to sing and fancy joining Olswang, see the vacancies that are currently on offer over at Professionals in Law. KM
