DLA Piper might well be a model organisation. But another DLA definitely is, being the brand name of Chinese company Xi’an Feiao Model, ‘a professional manufacturer of gasoline engine for radio control airplane is specialized in engine research, production and sale.’

The more one drills down, the more similarities one finds. According to its website, DLA Piper aims to ‘listen to and understand what our clients’ real needs are.’ Similarly, DLA’s exhaust pipes offer ‘Quality first, service-oriented as its philosophy; Customer first, market first for its service purpose.’

DLA continues in a similarly inventive vein.

In 2009 our professional DLA engines for aircraft model were released which researched and produced by our own:, the engine which used the newest materials and advanced design concepts made  the product  not only beautiful and artistically, but also threwer abrasion resistance, longer longvity and higher stability… we provide best quanlity assurance, free repairment and replacement are offered  during warranty period… Choose FeiaoModel, choose DLA toplevel gasoline engines, which will help u fly ur great dreams.

That DLA Piper also offers ‘longer longvity’ and such ‘quanlity assurance’ is a given. (Is ‘quanlity’ a mixture of quantity and quality, perhaps?)

But perhaps the greatest similarity comes in the appetite for merger. Whilst DLA Piper’s marriage history is more colourful than Liz Taylor’s and Zsa Zsa Gabor’s combined, DLA Pipes are themselves no slouches union-wise. ‘In order to make more modellers know our products well.now we are looking for distributors  all over the world,’ is the compelling invitation on their website.
