Fanner-dabidozi for SJB
Chris Fanner, former partner at Herbert Smith, has fallen under the spell of award-winning firm SJ Berwin. Mr Fanner, who specialises in leveraged buy-outs and infrastructure finance, joins Berwin’s London office.
Nabarro has added to its Singapore office by hiring Korean law expert David Kim. Mr Kim, who joins from Malaysian United Industries, will help the firm tap into the expanding trade between Korea and the rest of South East Asia.
Breaking links in Style
Former Linklaters practice chief Christopher Style QC is set to leave the firm to join One Essex Court. Mr Style, an arbitration specialist, will join the commercial and chancery set in November after 27 years as a partner at Linklaters.
Global player Mayer Brown has been building its pensions practice this month with the acquisition of Andrew Block, a former pensions partner at Travers Smith. Mr Block advises on occupational pension schemes, as well as the pensions aspects of corporate transactions and listings.
