Movers: December 2012

December 10, 2012

In the month of advent calendars, who’s opening new doors?

Baku to the future
Baker & McKenzie has looked locally in Baku for its new Azerbaijan managing partner. Litigation and competition lawyer Gunduz Karimov is the first local to hold the role since the office opened in 1998.

Frastai the no-man
Real estate partner Eddie Frastai has said ‘no’ to continued employment at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP and joined SNR Denton’s New York office. Mr Frastai has more than a decade of experience advising on a broad range of national real estate transactions, with specialist experience on the equity side.

Norton’s rosier
Huw Evans is leaving A&O for Norton Rose. Mr Evans, who specialises in patent litigation, will be the firm’s fourth London-based IP litigation partner and will help expand the firm’s practice when it merges with US firm Fulbright & Jaworski next June.
