Vertex Law sponsors Kent food and drink awards

Kent firm Vertex Law has been putting its money where its mouth is (or should that be the other way round?) as main sponsors of the 2013 Taste of Kent Awards.

And over the last six weeks, Vertex’s Head of Corporate James Beatton has sipped and nibbled some of the county’s best produce in order to whittle down nominees in the ‘Kent Food Product’ and ‘Kent Artisan Food Producer’ categories.

Mr Beatton said:

The standard of entries was incredibly high and we were presented with some exceptional food products, the best of which were truly sensational. Vertex Law works closely with many of the county’s food businesses but even so I was amazed at the diversity of products and their quality. There were some very strong contenders for first place and we had a tough job choosing the winners.

But the gastronomic adventure is not over just yet. The winners of the 2013 Taste of Kent Awards will be announced at a three-course gala dinner at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel, Hollingbourne, on Friday 8 March. And if you live in Kent and fancy joining Mr Beatton in tasting the delights of the county, tickets are still available.

Alternatively, if you fancy sampling a new firm why not see what’s on the menu at Professionals in Law? KM
